 What are
"Videos on DVD"?
They are videos of
local sporting
events which are
produced on DVD.
The majority of
videos involve the
North Augusta Parks
& Recreation
Department (NAPRD)
football &
cheerleading squads.
How Did It All
Get
Started? As a
parent of two
cheerleaders,
I found myself
sitting in the
stands several
nights a week for
weeks-on-end.
In order to "kill
some time", I began
videotaping the
football games.
Parents then began to
inquire about
getting a copy of
the game. It
occurred to me that
if parents were
willing to pay for
pictures of their
children, surely
they would want a
video featuring
their child in
action on the
gridiron or cheering
on the sideline.
Why I Do It?
When I was a little
boy, my parents
videotaped me and my
siblings growing up.
When I watch these
videos today, it
brings back fond
childhood memories
that would have been
otherwise forgotten.
